Much fun and delicious food was had by all at the grand finale of TGIS on Friday, September 29 in the Chianti Room. All summer long we have been treated to wonderful appetizers and a matching cocktail in the Portofino Room; however, the finale was special! We were greeted with a glass of champagne in the Portofino Room where we socialized and began our feast, then were led into the Chianti Room and met by Kathy and Jeff who put on a very lively little concert for us. The appetizers were delicious, the Manhattans were fabulous and the dessert was a nice ending to a terrific way to spend our Friday evenings all summer long. We are all looking forward to next summer’s TGIS. Thanks to Crystal Thomas and Chef Jonathon for putting on such a fun program for all of us full-timers!
