Jonnie Chandler
Captain Jeremy Alan Chandler, a Special Forces ODA-HALO Team Leader (Green Beret), was killed in action on August 11, 2005 while serving his third deployment to Afghanistan. His parents, PebbleCreek residents Lieutenant Colonel Alan Chandler, U.S. Army retired, and Jonnie Chandler, established a memorial scholarship in their son’s honor at his alma mater, the University of North Georgia. To date 10 scholarship recipients have commissioned and are currently serving in the U.S. Army.
Al and Jonnie invite you to join them for a Charity Beer and Wine Tasting and Silent Auction on Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Augie’s Sport Grill, 15605 West Roosevelt Street, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. 100% of sales benefit the Captain Jeremy Alan Chandler Leadership Scholarship at the University of North Georgia.
The scholarship endowment is held and managed by the UNG Foundation. UNG Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization. Gifts to the Captain Jeremy Chandler Scholarship are deductible for tax purposes.
