On September 22, 2017 Miss Madeline Laux was taking practice shots on the edge of the course! I was enjoying roasted Cornish Game Hen at Toscana’s Grill that beautiful Friday afternoon.
I grabbed my trusty Samsung Galaxy and dashed outside to see what was going on! There were high school aged girls and boys, parents, golf bags and carts everywhere! I found out that it was the Millennium High School Golf Tournament! I asked her (Maddy) if she would mind if I took her picture for Our PebbleCreek Post newspaper! She flashed a beautiful smile at me and said, “No, not at all! That would be nice!” She told me she does her practicing at the Palm Valley Course but Tuscany Falls is her home course! I was told by one of the mothers there that Maddy was third in the standings here in Arizona!
I wished her well and said, “Good luck!” as she met up with her friends and walked to her cart.
I hope you brought home a big trophy, Maddy!
