Tickets on sale for annual Fall Home and Garden Tour

Suzanne Butler

The twenty-third annual PebbleCreek Fall Home & Garden Tour will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2, from noon to 4:30 p.m.

The tax-deductible tickets are $15 per person and go on sale Sept. 30, at the Activities Office on the Eagle’s Nest side, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Exact cash and checks made payable to the City of Goodyear are accepted at this location. Tickets also will be available at the Tuscany Falls front desk. Checks only will be accepted at this location. Be sure to get your tickets early as the tour is a sell-out every year.

Residents who currently are away can mail their checks or money orders to Charlotte Krause at 15930 W. Edgemont Ave., Goodyear, AZ 85395. Checks should be made payable to the City of Goodyear. In the memo line write, “Shop with a Cop.” Tickets will be placed in will-call window at the Tuscany Falls front desk for you to pick up when you return to PebbleCreek.

When you purchase a ticket, it will include a brief description of each home, along with specific directions to each home. Each home on the tour also will have an orange cone with a police tape bow at the front. The committee suggests seeing the tour by golf cart as an easy and fun way to travel from home to home.

Donations are always welcome. All monies go towards the Goodyear Police Department’s “Shop with a Cop” program, which serves needy children in the Goodyear community. Each child is escorted by a member of the police department to shop. The children are so excited and grateful for the gifts that they can purchase not only for themselves, but for other members of their family. It is truly a heartwarming event. This program is a community event held at the Walmart on Estrella Parkway on Dec. 8. All PebbleCreek residents are welcome to attend.

Hosts and hostesses are needed to assist with each home on the tour. Please consider volunteering for this fun event by sending an email to [email protected]. Hosts and hostesses will serve a 2-1/2 hour shift, which will allow them to participate in the tour of homes and gardens also.
