The Men’s Christian Fellowship of PebbleCreek gives back

Curt Zimmerman, Public Relations

The Men’s Christian Fellowship of PebbleCreek participated in a community outreach project at St. Mary’s Food Bank on April 17. The Food Bank works with nearly 700 partner agencies to distribute donated food across Arizona where nearly 30% are considered working poor and lack consistent access to adequate food. Members of the fellowship helped sort donated canned vegetables and boxed meal items and fresh produce in advance of distribution at the Center located in Surprise.

The Fellowship convenes for a monthly program the first Wednesday of each month (October through May) with a guest speaker on Christian faith. The group also has prayer and visitation teams whose services are available to any resident in PebbleCreek. Requests can be directed to Jim Sykes at 614-395-4907 or [email protected]. Information received by the teams are kept in strict confidence.
