T.T.T. holds state convention at PebbleCreek

Laurie Overson

On April 13, the 2018 Arizona State T.T.T. Convention was held in the Chianti Room in PebbleCreek, hosted by Chapter Q. Cynthia Bush is our new Arizona State Board President and Lori Levitan is our new Arizona State Board Secretary. Unfortunately, the day of our convention was dangerously windy (remember those awful winds in April?) statewide, so the other Arizona State Board members could not come up from Tucson to attend the convention. We certainly missed our Tucson sisters, but those of us in attendance enjoyed the time of fellowship. We may be members of different chapters, but we are all T.T.T. sisters and we have a wonderful time together.

On May 17, the members of Chapter P brought to our regular meeting all the supplies that had been purchased for our campers. We checked to be sure the girls’ names were on their sleeping bags, backpacks and suitcases, as well as on each item of clothing. Everything will be stored at the home of our president, Claudia Clarkson, until we take our campers to meet the camp bus in Phoenix on June 3.

It’s exciting to see everything come together and to visualize our camper girls using the items and wearing the clothes and having a wonderful time at Camp Willow Springs in Prescott. Everything we purchase for them becomes theirs to keep after camp is over.

If you think you might be interested in helping change the lives of young girls for the better through the camp experience, you can learn more about membership in T.T.T. by contacting Cathi Hollis at 935-4856. We welcome all inquiries.
