Time to dust off and tune up your skis! It may be hard to believe but ski season is just around the corner. PebbleCreek doesn’t have a ski club but many PebbleCreek skiers belong to Valley of the Sun Ski Club (VSSC) which is open to all skiers and is just a short drive on Loop 303 to the Sun City West Foundation, SW corner of Stardust and RH Johnson Blvd. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month and the kickoff meeting is November 1. VSSC offers reasonably priced trips to some of the best ski areas in the West; for the 2018-2019 season, great trips are planned for Aspen/Snowmass, Telluride and Sun Valley, and a few openings are still available.
