Abrazo West Campus is hosting its 24th annual community Rescue Roundup Health and Safety Day on Saturday, February 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Highlights include: free screening and education on blood pressure, asthma, COPD, stroke, heart disease in women and one-person CPR; police department vehicles and K-9 demonstrations; helicopters, fire trucks and ambulances on display and many health education booths.
Those who wish to donate blood may do so on site. There will be two blood mobiles there (at Distracted Driving Booth and Car Seat Safety Checks).
All events will be in the East Parking Lot of the Abrazo West Campus (on McDowell between Litchfield Road and Dysart). Look for the signs on McDowell and 136th Dr. pointing to parking areas.
Come and meet your local emergency service providers, have your questions answered and enjoy free food and drink. See you there!
