Pumpkin class celebrates autumn

Jeff Wilson

The ever-popular sculpture teacher Ane Aune offered her clay pumpkin sculpture class again in celebration of autumn.

Ane’s teaching is always inspirational and entertaining. Everyone in the class embellished their pumpkins in some unique way. Birds, flowers, and other interesting things were applied to the pumpkins that increased individuality and character to each project.

The pumpkin class, like most pottery sponsored classes, was open to everyone including beginners who had no clay experience.

To see examples of the projects created in this class, come to the display cases outside the Pottery Room in the Creative Arts Center. And while there, go into the Expressions Gallery to see what other pottery sponsored classes are being offered, and check out all the beautiful art for sale by PC residents.
