Pottery Sculpture Club class

Jeff Wilson

The picture above is the January 2017 Pottery Hand Building class taught by Jeff and Terry Wilson. This popular class is taught on a monthly basis and generally fills early resulting in waiting lists. Projects range from functional items to sculptural objects. Beginners to advanced are welcome to participate.

Currently other pottery classes being taught by the Wilsons include Clay and Mixed Media Jewelry and Pottery Hand Building and, in a few weeks, a new class will debut, Sculptural Teapots, an intermediate to advanced class requiring the pottery hand building class or previous experience working with slab clay construction.

Sculpture classes are taught by the creative and inspirational artist, Ross Hart. Classes include Mask Making and Introduction to Water Based Clay Sculpture.

Class signups are in the Expressions Gallery in the Creative Arts Center. Check in frequently to stay on top of all the fun and creative class offerings. Also check out the display windows outside the Gecko Room to see what your neighbors are creating.

The Pottery Sculpture Club room is a fully equipped facility with two kilns, slab roller, clay extruder and two pottery wheels.

Please come explore all that the Pottery and Sculpture Club has to offer. Join in the fun and be creative.
