The PebbleCreek Republican Club enjoyed its annual luncheon on Thursday, April 5 in the Tuscany Falls Chianti Room. A delicious menu of bourbon pork, citrus chicken and spinach and artichoke crepes was topped off with a yummy mousse dessert.
During the business meeting the beautiful plaque honoring our armed services was displayed, which is to be auctioned off at a later date.
The program was a presentation by Jeff DeWit, Arizona State Treasurer and 2016 COO of the Trump campaign. He oversees over 14 billion dollars in state assets and is also the investment manager for local governments.
Mr. DeWit, a particularly entertaining speaker, presented a wonderful background of his experiences with the Trump campaign right up to the election. A lively Q & A period followed and he kindly stayed after the meeting to speak with a number of the members.
