Hollywood couldn’t hold a candle to the great fun and excitement at the Friday Friends Golf Group Oscar Party right here in PebbleCreek! Ladies were ushered in through the V.I.P. entrance at the home of Suzanne Butler, whose co-hosts were Sharon Graville and Dede Good. Everyone had on their red carpet evening wear. There were even some notable Hollywood stars there including Julia Roberts, Marilyn Monroe, a couple of Bollywood starlets, and even a cameo appearance by Audrey Hepburn!
Sharon Graville tested our memory with a fun trivia game on previous Oscar winning movies. Hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and personal bottles of champagne were enjoyed throughout the evening.
In the spirit of the Oscars, everyone cast their votes for Best Picture, Actor, Actress, etc. At the end of the evening there was a tie for the most correct votes for the actual winners in the categories. The grand prize of Harkins movie passes went to Pat Smith and Caroline Davis.
