PebbleCreek Community Church volunteers distribute Christmas dinner bags

Larry Sessoms

For many years our PebbleCreek Community Church Missions Committee has coordinated food collection, and filling and distributing Christmas dinner bags for the Agua Fria Food and Clothing Bank. This year Agua Fria was asked to join in a community-wide event that involved Palm Valley Church, that church’s Toys and More Project, the Salvation Army, Kiwanis Club and others to provide holiday food and cheer for over 700 local families.

Children were provided with games and crafts and heard the Christmas story while parents had gifts wrapped and picked up a Christmas dinner bag filled with a turkey, lots of fresh vegetables, and other items to provide their families with a holiday meal. Hundreds of volunteers helped to make this a wonderful event. We thank all those who donated food, financial assistance, and many volunteer hours to make this event the biggest and best!
