PebbleCreek Community Church reaches out to others

PebbleCreek Community Church (PCCC) is a mission-minded group of believers. We support many different local, national, and international missions. Photos and notes from those missions bring us great joy and help us more fully comprehend the impact of our donations. Knowing that we have helped make the lives of children and adults a little bit better is immensely heartwarming to our congregation.

Each year, the week before Thanksgiving, PCCC has a big Operation Christmas Child packing party to fill shoe boxes for boys and girls around the world who may never have received a gift in their entire lives. We have no idea where the boxes will go, but we are always gratified and surprised to receive photos of some of the children receiving our shoe boxes.

A pastor in the Philippines sent delightful photos and a note thanking us for sending the shoebox gifts of hygiene items, school supplies, t-shirts, dresses and small toys, which are true treasures to these children. He explained how much these gifts mean to the children as they live in a small remote village where these items are unavailable. Also, most do not have the funds to purchase these “luxury” items.

PCCC also supports World Gospel Missions in Peoria, Arizona, which sponsors a summer camp for Native American children who live on nearby reservations. We were thrilled to receive photos of some of these children as they received gifts of books and other special items donated by our missions committee.

On the other side of the world, a local Arizona doctor with Samaritan’s Purse World Medical Missions hand-carried an ultrasound machine to a hospital in Africa. PCCC was pleased to have contributed to the purchase of this essential piece of equipment that is now saving lives.

We also volunteer our own individual time and gifts to local organizations such as Agua Fria Food and Clothing Bank for their Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner food bags and the Phoenix Rescue Mission.

PebbleCreek Community Church meets each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom. Our congregation is comprised of a multitude of religious backgrounds. We would love to have you visit any Sunday morning for worship, followed by coffee, treats, and fellowship.
