At their meeting in January, PebbleCreek Car Club members were treated to a presentation by member Don Clinkinbeard on high performance driving techniques. The Arizona Motorsports Park, located just a couple miles from home, is a venue for this high adrenaline hobby. Classes are taught regularly at this track and you can go as a spectator to hear the engines roar. January is auction time in the valley. Members are keeping busy with attending a choice of a minimum of seven auctions all held the third week of January, the largest being Barrett-Jackson running from January 13-21. There are hundreds of cars to view and bid upon or just admire as they cross the auction block. February’s meeting will be held on the first Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the Tuscany Capri Room. Guest speaker will be Joe Hill, informing us on the latest in Firestone tires. Our annual Valentine’s Day luncheon will be held on February 17.
