The Roadrunners traveling golf team has played a lot of golf all over the valley during the last few months. Co-captains Ellen Enright and Sarah Marsh provided the following update on their season so far:
In the last three months we have had five very tough competitions on some very challenging and beautiful courses. The Roadrunner team has played at Wildfire, Tonto Verde, Superstition, Desert Mountain and, most recently, the very challenging Pete Dye designed Red Mountain Ranch.
The standings after five competitions have the PebbleCreek Roadrunner ladies in fourth place Gross and fifth place Net. We are playing solid golf but facing stiff competition. The Roadrunners are having a fabulous time playing together in our two lady best ball format.
We are hoping to finish the 2018 season strong with play at Anthem on February 19, Briarwood on March 26, and the grand finale hosted by PebbleCreek on April 2.
