The final LASSI (Ladies Arizona Summer Survivor Invitational) tournament was held on Sept. 2 at everyone’s favorite Los Caballeros Golf Club in Wickenburg.

Affectionately known as “Los Cab,” the course is a favorite among the golfers because of its majestic views of the Bradshaw Mountains and Vulture Peak. Although the course was wet, the players were allowed to lift, clean, and place their ball on the fairways.

The teams from the PebbleCreek Ladies Golf Association (PCLGA) were as follows: Katherine Tatro and Nancy Moore; Teresa Christenson and Kathy Enegren; Amber Rivera and Linda Sweet; Kathi Curtis and Donna Havener; Liz Wenzler and Vicki McLaughlin; Chris Cook and Jean Ostroga; Jeannie Alvarez and Cindy Tollefson; Tess Braden and Carol Taylor; and Mary Falso and Kathy Smith.

PCLGA winners in the 2-Person Best Ball were Katherine Tatro and Nancy Moore, 3rd place in Flight A; Teresa Christenson and Kathy Enegren, 5th place in Flight A. Nice going, gals!

Longest Putt winners were Amber Rivera on hole number 14; Chris Cook on hole number 6. Way to sink those putts!

An abundant lunch was served with multiple entrée options. With masks on, the players pointed to their selection and what portion size and it was served to them. The desserts were delicious cookies and brownies.

The PCLGA ladies were sad to see the LASSI season come to an end, but they are looking forward to playing again in the 2021 season!

Have some fun in the sun and go play golf!
