Pictured above are eight PebbleCreek members of Valley of the Sun Ski Club (VSSC) on the slopes in front of Lone Peak at Big Sky Resort, Montana. Fifty-one members of VSSC spent an enjoyable week February 21 through 27 at this massive ski area and got to experience the big skies of Montana since the weather was outstanding-—sunshine and blue skies almost every day with comfortable conditions, including great snow. Some of the group also took a day off and toured nearby Yellowstone National Park in comfortable snow coaches and enjoyed impressive views of geysers and a variety of animals. VSSC has a number of members from PebbleCreek and ventures out of state several times each season to major destination ski areas and this season scheduled trips to three well known areas: Aspen and Telluride, Colorado and Big Sky, Montana. Membership in VSSC is open to skiers from all parts of Arizona as well as other states. Club meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month in the Webb Room at the SCW Foundation, 14465 W. RH Johnson Boulevard at Sun City West. Visit the club website at www.ski.scwclubs.com for more information or contact Mary Ann Vangelisti at 623-214-6659.
