No vaping rule reminder

In case you haven’t heard, the PebbleCreek board of Directors approved a ‘no e-cigarettes” rule, effective January 23, 2014. The rule reads:

11.14 Smoking:

Smoking and e-cigarettes are not permitted within any PebbleCreek facility, building, pools, outdoor sports facilities or within 20 feet of any building entrance, open window, or ventilation system. Arizona Revised Statutes Sec. 36-601.01. The Board may establish designated smoking areas.

According to research, the basic e-cigarette was created in 2003 by a Chinese pharmacist named Hon Lik. His idea was to create a nicotine delivery device that produced inhalable and flavoured smoke-like vapor from liquids like this free vape juice. Thus, the modern e-cig was born, designed to evoke the look and feel of smoking cigarettes. These products are available just about everywhere in the world now and there are websites such as Vaping360 that give information on modding e-cigarettes too! With more and more people using e-cigarettes the demand for more flavours has increased and now there are fruity flavours, minty flavours, liquids that taste like your favourite drink and believe it or not food, to have a look at some of these flavours go to gourmeteliquid. Vaping can also be used for medicinal purposes with some using CBD vaping oil. There are places like Puffmen where you can get vaping and other cannabis-based products.

“While to some, there may be points of difference between e-cigarettes and vaporizers (or “vaping”), we view it as the same action,” noted John Dale, PebbleCreek Rules and Compliance Committee Chair. “The rule is written to prohibit any type of smoking in or near any of our facilities,” said Dale. Please be sure to pass on this information to your visiting friends and family and, of course, any renters.”
