Mercedes Club notice

Mike Minges

My apologies; rather than have a club for MB Sls only, if I want the Mercedes Club of America’s blessing, all Mercedes owners, past and present are welcome. Everyone that responded please respond again and I will start a new file.

We’ve all heard “you can’t take it with you,” but we do take our memories and knowledge from this life into the next. That’s what I want to hear about. I want to hear about how a Mercedes enriched one’s life and how that memory will be cherished forever. One’s thoughts, reactions and memories will be put into print. If you ever wondered what it’s like to see one’s soul in print, now is the opportunity.

Here’s what I bring to the table. I’m a published photographer and a lover of the moment. I also taught nursing, so rather than just shoot pictures of your car, I’d rather teach you how to take memorable pictures of your baby. Photography is the science of light. So, there is a methodology to taking pictures that will evoke emotion from the photographer and the reader. Emotions are like gold and can remain with a person forever and should be shared with kindred spirits.

Here’s the type of outing I’m shooting for. To me, creativity is the last haven of the optimistic. So, I’m drawn to the creative. Paolo Soleri immigrated to the U.S. right after WWII from Italy. His workshop is located at 6433 E. Doubletree Ranch road off Scottsdale Rd. It’s creativity overload. There’s a tour that starts every day at 11:00 a.m. that’s really great.

Let’s use the love of our cars to enrich our lives, and other’s lives, too.

Make it great for the optimistic!
