Learn about this caring, charismatic, and multi-talented missionary who bridged the gap between European and Native American cultures in early Arizona. Between 1687 and 1711, he established 24 missions throughout northern Mexico and southern Arizona and laid the foundation for the beautiful San Xavier del Bac near Tucson. Nov. 3 marks 100 years since the cornerstone at Thomas Mission Church was dedicated. This event will have historical and cultural exhibits, activities, and performances including Dia de los Muertos displays, dance performances by Ballet Folklorico Esperanza, stories, face painting, and crafts.
