Well, twelve PebbleCreek residents have! They all completed the three evening, three-hour-per-class course, taught by award winning artist Curtis Patchin. The students learned how to operate and control an airbrush. The class was provided with all the materials such as paints, compressors, airbrushes, canvasses, stencils, etc. This allowed each student to test drive prior to making an investment in equipment. The class ended each evening with a mini project to create something from the skills learned in that session.

Every student had a different reason for learning airbrushing. They wanted to use this new skill to paint wood carvings, pottery, ceramics, model trains, tee shirts, canvass, etc. and some just had a general curiosity on how an airbrush worked.

This is the third year that this class has been offered and it proves to be very popular as it has been consistently full with a waiting list every year.

The PebbleCreek Art Club offers many different types of art classes (colored pencil, oils, acrylics, water color, pastels and many more) and sign-ups are online. If you’re thinking of getting creative go to pcac.clubexpress.com.
