To cool down and help beat the summer heat, the Flair Friendship Fun Club in PebbleCreek held a Friday night Splash Down Card Party at the new Oasis Pool.
We cooked some good food which included roasted corn, hamburgers, chili, sausages and pork and beans. Some of our members brought muffins, potato salad, pasta salad and dessert. We started cooking before sunset. It was hot during that time, but jumping into the pool kept most of us real cool.
We piped in our own music from Sirius XM. Those that wanted to dance did. Others played several different games of cards. The rest just relaxed.
What a wonderful evening to eat, swim, play cards and have good conversation at the Oasis.
