Fallen Feathers Founder to Speak Wednesday, February 5, 2020

Marge Ellison, Vice President

The Pet Companions Club of PebbleCreek is pleased to have as its speaker at our Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020, meeting, Jodi Kieran, Founder and President of Fallen Feathers. We will meet at 3 p.m. in Room 100 of the Eagle’s Nest Activities Center.

All PebbleCreek residents, whether club members or not, are invited to attend this very interesting presentation. There is no charge.

Fallen Feathers is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is dedicated to protecting the health and well-being of wild and exotic birds. The goal is to rehabilitate the birds back to health and release them back into the wild, and/or locate their owner. Fallen Feathers cares for well over 1000 birds a year. The rescue and rehabilitation process includes medical attention, feeding, housing, socializing, environment adaptation, and back-up release support, as needed.

Jodi has provided invaluable assistance to many PebbleCreek residents and to the Pet Companions Club for many years, both answering residents’ questions and taking in and caring for our injured birds.

As always, a donation box will be available at the meeting for such pet related items as: pet toys, pet food (please check expiration date), leashes, collars, crates, cages, blankets (no sheets or pillow cases, please), towels, etc. Those items not used for our own PebbleCreek rescue efforts will be donated to other local animal rescue organizations.

Please address any questions to Jim or Marge Ellison at 623-935-6651.
