“Everybody’s Irish” for a day of putting

Maureen Campbell

On March 18, members of the PebbleCreek Putters Club summoned up the good luck of the Irish, that extreme good fortune that happens when you are wearing green golf apparel.

Myth? Maybe. However, 125 putters scored 50 holes-in-one that day. Members combined their putting skills with their luck on a challenging course set up for the day. The Putters Club creates a different course every week, creating a new test of putting skills for players.

Weekly play for the PebbleCreek Putters Club is on the 18-hole putting green at Tuscany Falls. Membership is a happy mix of veteran players, golfers who have been playing a few years and those new to the game.

Play is on Mondays and Wednesdays all year long. Find membership forms in the alcove at the Tuscany Falls Pro Shop or contact the Membership Chairperson, Donna von Oy, [email protected].
