In February 2012, the PCHOA Board of Directors decided to form a committee of residents to update and improve the HOA website. At that time a number of residents responded; however, one resident demonstrated not only the talent but the perseverance to take on the project from beginning to end. Through design, organization and implementation, this resident proved loyal and dedicated to the task of making the HOA website outstanding. Eventually this resident was hired as a part time HOA employee to manage the website.

Priscilla Wardlow grew up in Wisconsin, graduated from St. Olaf College and received an MBA from Harvard Business School. Most of her working years she spent in corporate management honing her skills in management, operations and technology, eventually using those skills as a consultant. Although she traveled quite extensively for work, Priscilla loved the Southwest, so PebbleCreek was the lucky recipient of her talent and skills upon retirement!

Priscilla got an Apple IIe computer in 1983 and taught herself how to use it. She continued to upgrade her skills through the years keeping up with the latest technology. She has developed and worked on websites for nearly 20 years helping friends, family, local business and even the city of Santa Monica, California.

Shortly after moving to PebbleCreek, Priscilla became involved in the committee working to update the HOA website. Since then Priscilla Wardlow has consistently shown her extraordinary dedication to the HOA website through hard work, vision and technical ability. She has introduced new features such as the weekly enewsletter, the PebbleNews, which provides a one-stop-shop easy access to all the news and information in PebbleCreek. She works diligently with managers who have communications visions for their individual departments and to help them reach their goals. The biggest challenge, according to Priscilla, is increasing awareness in the community that the web team is happy to post information on activities, clubs, events, etc. and encouraging those who submit information to keep it up to date.

Priscilla feels strongly that communication is important in an HOA community. “Information should be readily available to homeowners and websites make that possible,” states Priscilla. “The website is an extensive repository of facts, figures, forms, documents, etc. and I wanted to help provide a place where homeowners could find out about events, activities, budget, HOA meetings and any other information they may need,” she added. “It always makes me happy when folks tell me they love PebbleNews and plan their week around it.”

Priscilla’s above and beyond dedication is demonstrated in her willingness to ensure the HOA website is continually updated and that PebbleNews is delivered to resident’s emails every Monday morning – even while away on two cruise vacations this past year. During her vacation, she remained available to update the website as necessary and to ensure that PebbleNews never missed a Monday delivery. Her dedication and commitment to the HOA website is unparalleled and deserves to be recognized. Congratulations Priscilla for being chosen Employee of the Month for March 2015!
