Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse Rocks a New Look

When Pub Quiz Night finally returns, we will have an incredible trivia question for everyone. “What does the Eagle’s Clubhouse have in common with the home of rock star Alice Cooper?” No, it’s not hard rock music. And no, not electric chairs, guillotines, fake blood, or boa constrictors. It’s interior designer Tony Sutton!

That’s right, the very same award-winning interior designer, Tony Sutton, who just finished remodeling the home of rock star Alice Cooper, is responsible for giving Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse its spectacular, much-needed, makeover. Sutton’s design firm, Est Est, established in 1959, is the oldest interior design company in Scottsdale, and one of the few interior design firms in Arizona to maintain a specialty contractor’s license for both residential and commercial work.

Sutton’s design team chose stylish yet durable finishes for the clubhouse interiors. Modern furnishings, contemporary light fixtures, sleek accessories, and remarkable artwork add polish and pizzaz. “Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse is a really beautiful space,” noted Erin Hannam, lead designer on the project. “It was a joy to work with Greg Fausto and his team and giving this wonderful space a new look.”

In addition to new furniture, lighting, and décor, the clubhouse interior was completely repainted and new carpeting installed. The front desk and kiosk were remodeled to be ADA compliant, and new granite counters were installed. In the ballroom, the lighting control system was replaced, as well as the stage curtain, and shades were installed on the windows. In the locker rooms, non-stick coating was applied in the showers, and the pool got a fresh coat of cool deck paint.

The Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse is scheduled to reopen on Oct. 26, the same day the newly refurbished Eagle’s Nest Golf Course reopens.

P.S. Here’s another trivia question for everyone, “What is Alice Cooper’s golf handicap?” Answer: 5. In addition to being a legendary rock icon, Cooper tours around the world every year and continues to release albums. He also participates in many celebrity charity events and has hosted ten of his own annual Alice Cooper Celebrity Golf Tournaments. You can see Cooper’s newly remodeled home in the June 2020 issue of Phoenix Home & Garden Magazine.
