Cooking Club Alive and Well in PebbleCreek, by Nevin Nelson. One of the cooking groups, the DEMOS, recently met at Barb Spano’s lovely home where we were treated to a High Tea consisting of scones and Devonshire cream and lemon curd, tiny little sandwiches, biscotti which Barb demonstrated and Italian sesame cookies which Barb Periseau demonstrated. The purpose of this group is to learn how to cook all kinds of food that might not be familiar to us. Each event will have demonstrations or hands-on cooking by the group.

There are at least five more cooking groups sprouting up in PebbleCreek.
