As a salute to PebbleCreek veterans, a digital presentation is being prepared for Veterans Day. Images of veterans in their uniforms during their respective times of service, their names, and periods of service will be shown on PebbleTV for 24 hours.
To accomplish this, PebbleCreek veterans are each asked to submit a photo of themselves in uniform during their times of service. Homeowners are also encouraged to submit photos that include veterans who may be family or friends who are honored by pavers and/or seat caps on the Armed Forces Plaza. Submit photos to [email protected]. Physical photos can be submitted in an envelope addressed to Sandra Hand to the Activities Office. These photos will be scanned and returned to the Activities Office in the same envelope with your name for pickup.
For all photos, be sure to include the full name of the individual in the photo, branch of service, and the period in which they served. For example – Joe Doe, USAF, Korea; or Jane Doe, USMC, Vietnam; or John Blank, USN, Cold War; or Jane Blank, USAF, Fort Bragg.
The project starts now to note all PebbleCreek veterans and family/friends honored in the Plaza who wish to be included on Veterans Day in November. If you have already submitted a photo for a past presentation, you do not need to resubmit.
All submissions are due by Oct. 30, to be included for the 2019 Veteran’s Day program.
