Did you go to summer camp when you were a kid? If you didn’t, don’t you wish you had been able to?

If you went, do you remember what a great effect it had on you? You probably came home with a bunch of new friends, new accomplishments, a new awareness of your own capabilities and wonderful memories. Whether you were aware of it or not at the time, it was an affirming and confidence-building experience, as well as being just plain fun. For someone who didn’t have experiences like that regularly, it was absolutely life-changing. You found out that you could do things you didn’t think you could. You learned new skills. You discovered that you could look fear in the face and win, especially when you had others around you who were pulling for you.

When you support T.T.T. in our fundraising efforts, this is the kind of experience you are helping to provide to underprivileged fourth grade girls who would otherwise not have the opportunity to go to an accredited summer camp. You are actually helping to change the way these girls see themselves, and in a very positive way.

Our annual spring fundraiser is selling Butter Braids, an unbelievably delicious filled pastry that comes to you frozen. These delicacies can be obtained only through fundraisers. We so appreciate the wonderful support you gave us with our fundraiser this year.

The Butter Braids will be delivered on Friday, March 15. Thank you so much for helping us to change young girls’ lives for the better.
