Arizona Vision Walk 2018

Judy Hauger

Please join Craig and Judy Hauger at the Arizona Vision Walk on Saturday, February 24, 2018. They invite you to join their team as they walk in honor of their daughter Ashley and all people who suffer from congenital degenerative retinal eye diseases. Ten million Americans are blind or visually impaired and one person every minute becomes blind every year! 100,000 people have Retinitis Pigmentosa and 25,000 have Usher Syndrome Type 2, a form of RP like their daughter has. This also includes Macular Degeneration, Stargate Disease and much more.

Foundation Fighting Blindness sponsors these walks across the country to raise funds for research and to bring awareness about these retinal diseases. They are making a driving force difference for research and now there are more than 20 clinical trials underway and more coming! Just a few short years ago, there was none.

Please consider joining the walk! Contact Craig and/or Judy Hauger at 623-414-3080 or [email protected].

Registration is at 8:00 a.m. and the walk starts at 9:00 a.m. It is at Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix. Last year there were over 225 PebbleCreek friends and neighbors walking as Team Ashley! They were the largest walking team at the AZ Vision Walk for the fourth year in a row! Actually, they were the largest walking team in the United States! If you can’t walk, come join us anyway. We want you there! Food and beverage is  provided by FFB.
