PCM9GA 4th annual Holiday party a huge success!

About 158 of our PCM9GA members and guests celebrated our highly anticipated fourth annual Holiday Party on Friday evening, December 6, which literally filled up the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom to capacity. It was hard to imagine that this event would even surpass the excellent success of our previous three holiday events but this time, by an overwhelming response, this party was absolutely awesome.

Our members and guests arrived at 6:30 p.m. to a cash bar to lighten up to the true holiday spirit. Prior to the formal start of our evening long exciting festivities, our dynamic and highly creative and innovative current PCM9GA President Ray Clements got our program going with introductions followed by John Ward, a former PCM9GA President, leading all attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Soon after, President Ray Clements directed the door prize drawing activities. In addition to the outstanding entertainment and dance music by our selected entertainment group, Barry and Winfred Jeanelle, throughout the evening several of our quite highly talented PCM9GA members also joined our Holiday Party entertainment which included Bart Ventura’s Frank Sinatra songs, a laughable comedy skit by Marty Dubbs and also the singing voice of Barbara Hendrickson.

Once again our PebbleCreek Catering Department served two quite awesome chicken and prime rib main courses and our PCM9GA members simply had a grand old time and danced up a storm for quite some time through the night.

Needless to say, highly successful events such as our fourth annual PCM9GA Holiday Party never occur by accident and hats off to our PCM9GA executive board and committee members as well as our member entertainers which contributed so much to make this event so highly well received. For starters, Doug Wainwright, Al Lowe and Randy Prinz did a super job in all the planning activities in addition to the current PCM9GA executive board members which includes President Ray Clements, Randy Prinz, Bruce Hulbert, Bob Caldwell and Dave Eckert.

Our PCM9GA group tremendously looks forward to a very full schedule as we start our new year which, in addition to our bi-monthly tournaments and weekly events, will include our Turf Paradise outing on January 19, our first annual Niners Member-Guest Invitational Tournament on February 26, our annual PCM9GA Championship Flight Tournament series in March followed by our annual all member meeting and our annual Awards Banquet in April.

The PCM9GA membership continues its ever expanding growth rate with the current membership now very near 300 members which represents well over a 600% increase in the past several years. Our PCM9GA highly encourages prospective new members to join our fun loving group which welcomes golfers at all skill levels. The annual $50 cost includes dues for the AGA membership which is essential for handicap reporting.
