Swinging Skirts Kick-Off

The PebbleCreek Lady Niners’ annual Kick-Off was held on November 18. In keeping with this year’s theme, Swinging Skirts, most golfers donned their skorts, the golf skirt of today. But a few of the ladies actually wore the long flowing skirts of days gone by.

The Kick-Off is the first of many special events the Lady Niners enjoy through the season. Winners of the day were rewarded with dollars added to their Winnings Cards, which is great for shopping at our wonderful Pro Shops!

Donation to Fill-a-Need

The Lady Niners were pleased to present a donation of $600 plus several toys to the Fill-a-Need program sponsored by the City of Goodyear and coordinated through the Goodyear Fire Department. Fire Chief Paul Luizzi and several fire fighters from our local District 8 Fire House were at the December 2 play date to accept the donation. PCL9GA member and Goodyear Councilwoman Wally Campbell, along with other committee members, did a great job in collecting donations for this very worthy cause. These donations will be distributed to needed families in the Goodyear area.

AWGA 2014 Nine Hole State Medallion Championship Tournament

This is a prestigious event bringing together the low gross and low net representatives from Ladies’ nine hole clubs throughout the area to vie for the AWGA Medallion Championship.
