Lady Niners news – December 2014

Back to Prime Time

The PebbleCreek Lady Niners were happy to return to their home courses at PebbleCreek after several travel dates during the overseeding and it was great to get back to regular afternoon tee times. There’s no place like home! Season play began at Eagle’s Nest on November 4 with the majority of the snowbirds back making for quite a large group of Lady Niners.

Hole-in-One Club

The PCL9GA has quite a number of ladies who have had a hole-in-one. Special recognition for this elusive achievement was given to a number of ladies earlier this summer. The number of hole-in-one achievers is even more than first thought. The PCL9GA ladies pictured have also had a hole-in-one. In fact, Jane Kelly was the first PCL9GA member to make a hole-in-one. Congratulations!

New Ambassadors for PCL9GA

A great group of ladies have volunteered to serve as ambassadors for the PCL9GA. These ladies will be available to welcome new members at club events, make sure they locate other members of their foursomes and generally feel at home in the group. With membership growing every year, this is a very important role to be filled and this year’s volunteers are certainly up to the task!

We invite lady golfers in PebbleCreek who may be interested in joining the PebbleCreek Lady Niners to please contact club President Karen Morgan at 623-536-1781 or 209-609-5616 or visit the club website at www.PCL9GA.org for membership information and prerequisites.
