Dancing with the PebbleCreek Stars

Feet are tapping and fingers are snapping—because it’s that time again. Time to mark your calendar and wait to rise early for the ticket sales—because you don’t want to miss the 2015 Dancing with PebbleCreek Stars. Back by popular demand, the fourth annual show takes place on Saturday, January 17, 2015.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, November 8 in the Renaissance Theatre at 8:00 a.m. Tickets are $40 per person. Due to the extreme popularity of this event, tickets will be limited to four per person. Tables of 12 will be sold sequentially and filled in order of ticket sales. As one table is filled, the next ticket sales will be for the next table until it is filled and so forth. The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. with light hors d’oeuvres and no-host cocktails in the Chianti Dining Room and Lounge. The show follows at 7:00 p.m. in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom.

And now, after much anticipation, the contestants for the 2015 Dancing With PebbleCreek Stars are revealed. Drumroll please—.

Carolyn Suttles: Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, Carolyn is an avid golfer, a member of T.T.T. Chapter Q, a Kare Bears Coordinator and was recently selected Volunteer of the Year by the Arizona Women’s Golf Association.

Alex Potapoff: From Flushing, New York, an avid fan of New York sports, Alex is a retired Air Force Master Sergeant who now spends his time playing bocce, euchre, mah jongg and pickleball.

Kathy Luders: From San Jose, then Washington State, Kathy and her husband Gary raised three lovely daughters. A retired QA Analyst for an insurance company, she now enjoys workout classes, pickleball, reading books at the pool and dancing!

Ted Wallace: Originally from the Bay area, Ted lived in Seattle with his wife Pam until retiring from Pepsi in 2007. He is active in the softball league and enjoys pickleball and tennis.

Laura Measles: Retired from the Chamber of Commerce in Alaska, serving as executive director, Laura moved to PebbleCreek in 2000. She has held several offices in the Ladies Social Club and served on the HOA Rules Committee, Election Committee and is a Unit Representative. A Kare Bears Coordinator since 2000, she served as first vice president and president.

Bill Barnard: Bill has worked at PebbleCreek for 14 years and was promoted to General Manager in November 2012. Although he enjoys golf, travel, rock music from the 60’s through today, movies and sports, he devotes most of his non-working hours to his wife and two children ages five and three. Bill enjoys teaching his children sports and just spending time having fun with his wife and children.

What a lineup! This incredible group of personable PebbleCreekers will dazzle the crowd as one of them dances their way to victory and the coveted mirror ball! Who will rise to victory? Who will leave in defeat? All will be revealed under the dazzling lights amidst the glamour of this enchanting evening. Each PebbleCreek dancer will be matched with a professional from the Utah Dance Company to learn a ballroom dance routine over one week. Video highlights of each dancer’s rehearsals will be shown, the dance pairs will perform and a judging panel and audience votes will determine the winner.
