If you are part of the growing population of single men and women living in the PebbleCreek community, perhaps you already have participated in one or more of the countless social, cultural and athletic activities and events planned just for you on a monthly basis. Currently there are almost 200 singles that have experienced the camaraderie and good times that have become synonymous with being a member of the PebbleCreek Singles Club.

For 17 years, many dedicated volunteers have carried on the mission of the club’s founders, devoting hours of their time to providing a welcoming environment for singles to feel comfortable participating in a broad spectrum of activities and events with others who share similar interests and life experiences.

The April 2015 Activities Calendar is a testament to the commitment of the current officers and volunteers who plan, organize and publicize the core activities and special events that keep the members active and engaged.

President Judy Shaffer and Activities Director Peggy Kuffner do the lion’s share of the work, ably assisted by Vice President and Membership Chairman Judy Wolowitz, Treasurer Anita Asp, Secretary Bobbie Ence, Publicity Director Pat Milich and a core of volunteers who serve on the Activities Committee. Much appreciated are the dedicated hosts of the regular monthly core activities such as Pictionary, Movie Night, Singles Golf, Brunch and a Movie, Game Night, Singles at Karaoke, Dinners and Happy Hours.

In recent months, members Dan Miczek, Mike Lewandowski and Helen Rabbitt stepped up to organize and host Soup Tasting and St. Patrick Day parties. This month Diane Staff will be spending much of her time planning one of the club’s most popular and well attended events, the annual Scavenger Hunt, set for April 7. The entire Activities Committee will work to assure the success of a new activity, a Bocce for Fun Party on April 25 and, with Host Joy Bole doing the legwork, a group of singes will travel to the Arizona Broadway Theatre to see Sweet Charity on April 30.

Prospective members, as well as current members interested in offering ideas for activities, are encouraged to reach out to Peggy Kuffner at [email protected] or 623-935-7225. The most current Activities Calendar is always available at the kiosk at Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse.

All PebbleCreek single homeowners, fulltime renters and snowbirds are encouraged to learn more about the diverse fun loving group this unique organization represents. For new member information contact Judi Wolowitz at [email protected]. The club meets monthly on the first Sunday of the month in the ballroom of the Tuscany Falls Clubhouse. Registration of new members begins at 2:15 p.m., activities signup at 2:30 p.m., business meeting at 3:00 p.m.
