Artist Series – Assisted Living: The Musical – Saturday, March 7, 2015, at 7:00 p.m.

Somewhere nestled in all of our futures is The Pelican Roost: An active retirement community. We meet Naomi, the unsinkable, oft-widowed resident (“Bedridden? I haven’t been bedridden since Mr. Lipschitz passed away.”) There’s an aging TV lawyer who offers to sue someone—-anyone—including himself. In the Kumbaya Community Room, we hear from Ben Younger, a retired Catskills comedian who experiments with yoga. Down the hall, we meet a sweet little old lady who’ll do anything for a room with a view. Assisted Living: The Musical is for anyone who is growing older or thinking of doing so someday. Divas! A Tribute to Donna Summer, Diana Ross and Divas of Soul Concert – Sunday, March 15, 2015, at 7:00 p.m.

When Marva Scott is performing as the Queen of Disco Donna Summer, as the incomparable Diana Ross or any of the Divas she pays tribute to, she is a spot on lookalike and sound alike. Singing all the hits of Donna Summer, Diana Ross and other soul divas, accompanied by a sensational band, she is a well rounded and well known entertainer who will have you dancing in the aisle. Luck of the Irish Concert – Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at 7:00 p.m.

A salute to music, dance and comedy from the Emerald Isle, Luck of the Irish promises plenty of surprises. You might find yourself doing a jig, singing along with an Irish fiddler, playing a penny whistle, reciting a limerick or taking part in an authentic dance. PebbleCreek Parking Lot Sale – Saturday, March 21, 2015

The annual Parking Lot Sale is back this spring and is scheduled for Saturday, March 21. The sale will take place in the parking lot in front of the Arts and Crafts Building on the Tuscany Falls side. The parking lot will be open to resident vendors at 6:00 a.m. for set-up. All cars must be out of the parking lot area by 7:00 a.m. The sale will open at 7:00 a.m. for residents and 8:00 a.m. to the public. The sale will close at 11:00 a.m. Spaces are on sale in Room 100 (across from the Activities Office). You must provide your own tables and chairs for your space. We only provide the space; one space per household. All spaces for residents are $20 each and $30 per commercial product. Spaces will be sold in numerical order. No refunds. All residents are responsible for total clean up of their space including trash which must be taken to the trash can. Please, no motorized vehicles or firearms of any kind.

Artist Series – Todd Oliver – Saturday, March 21, 2015, at 7:00 p.m.

Talking dogs and Rock ‘n Roll! Have you ever met a talking dog, a real talking dog? Get ready because you’re going to meet two of them at this show. Irving and Lucy, with a little help from their friend Todd Oliver, are going to talk up a storm. If you ever wondered how a dog looks at life, these little home raised companions are going to give it to you straight from the dog’s mouth. Todd Oliver and Friends has been a feature on The Late Show with David Letterman and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. In 2012 they were a semi-finalist of America’s Got Talent. Good Rockin’ Live: Tribute to Sun Records and Birth of Rock ‘n Roll Concert – Sunday, March 22, 2015, at 7:00 p.m.

In 1952 Sun Studios opened up shop in a small storefront in Memphis, Tennessee, setting off a chain of events that would change the course of musical history. Sun Records launched the careers of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and more! Don’t miss this show that will bring to life rock music’s earliest and best moments. Arizona Diamondbacks Opening Day Bus Trip – April 6, 2015

The Broadway Concerts bring to the stage the greatest hits of Broadway and the West End in one massive show of blockbusters. From West Side Story to Les Miserables, from Oklahoma to Phantom of the Opera, this show will appeal to music and concert lovers everywhere. 3 International Tenors Concert – July 3, 2015

Catch a Wave Concert – July 31, 2015

The sounds of surf, sun and classic cars set the backdrop for the legendary 1960’s Beach Boys presented by world renowned show Catch a Wave (formerly known as The Beach Toys). Right down to the exact striped shirts, instruments and amplifiers, this act is also the only Beach Boys’ show to have been personally selected by performer Brian Wilson, The Beach Boys their families and friends for the California Beach Boys state landmark dedication. Catch A Wave has been performed in Japan, Holland, South America, French Polynesia and New Zealand as well as performing regularly at Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure theme park. Teen Idols Concert– August 28, 2015

There is nothing that can stir old memories like revisiting the music of your teen years. Back in the ‘50s and ‘60s, Teen Idols delivered songs and images that stayed with us all our lives. One of the best things about a cruise vacation is the live entertainment. At the end of a busy day on the ship, hundreds of passengers gather in the showroom at sea to watch one of the many varied types of performers. Jugglers, magicians, comedians, singers, dancers and so much more. Cory McCloskey, from FOX 10 in Phoenix and TAD Management has teamed up to bring the ship to you! (Well, the show at least!) Cory presents an old school variety show featuring some of the best acts you can see on the best cruise ships in the world.
