Picnic in the park signals start of Bocce season

Bocce under the lights is a go! Look for this scene captured on a recent beautiful Wednesday morning at the new Eagle’s Nest Bocce Complex to repeat itself on Wednesday nights under the lights! Bocce officials report that there has been enough interest expressed by PebbleCreek residents to form a Wednesday Night League starting with the spring 2015 season. As of press time there were eight teams registered. Last chance to sign up is March 2 and 3, 10:00 a.m. to noon at Eagle’s Nest kiosk.

Bocce on a roll in a big way at beautiful new facility

Roger Milewski, who is a member of the PebbleCreek Bocce Ball Association and also Arizona State Senior Olympics Commissioner, assists Cheryl Kasselmann, association president, with conducting a special clinic for the 52 new members on Monday, September 29 at the new bocce ball courts at Eagle’s Nest. Captains and co-captains participated in the training session.
