Celebrate the first day of spring with the PebbleCreek Ballroom Dance Club on Friday, March 20 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom.
Swing and sway to the tunes of DJ Robert Wilson, a PebbleCreek favorite. Dress is country club casual but feel free to break out your bobby sox and poodle skirts, your swing shoes and zoot suit. Come ready to Lindy Hop or West Coast Swing and revive the jitterbug as well as the Waltz, Fox Trot, Tango and Rhumba to the sounds of the big bands.
Dance registration and a cash bar will be available beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Tickets go on sale at the Eagle’s Nest Kiosk on Tuesdays (March 3, 10 and 17) and Thursdays (March 5 and 12) from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Tickets will also be available at the Eagle’s Nest Kiosk from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4. Tickets are $10 for PebbleCreek Ballroom Dance Club members and $15 for non-members. So get a table together with your friends and neighbors and come to the Eagle’s Nest Kiosk for your tickets.
Advance tickets for the April 18 Ballroom Dinner Dance will be available at the registration table at the March 20 Swing Into Spring dance. Tickets for the April 18 dance are $30 for members, $40 for non-members. Dance music will be provided by The Terry McFee Orchestra. Look for additional details in the April PebbleCreek Post.
For those who are new to ballroom dancing, and for those who may want to brush up on their dancing skills, Ed and Sharron Sampson are offering free basic ballroom dance lessons on Tuesday afternoons from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom. These lessons are not affiliated with the PebbleCreek Ballroom Dance Club. They are generously provided by two of your PebbleCreek neighbors who love dancing and are sharing their time and talents with you. Just walk in and Ed and Sharron will have you dancing out.
