Summer TV Dinners

Melissa Kallett

The first TV dinner last month was a hit and the next one, on Thursday, June 21, looks to be just as fun. This month it’s a Mexican buffet and the audience participation game show will be “Liar, Liar”. In this game participants will recite three statements about themselves, two of which are true and one of which is a lie. Then the audience must guess which statement is the lie. It is amazing the number of excellent liars that live in our community and the extraordinary things they have truthfully done in their life. Last year we learned one of our residents actually (truthfully) sold Girl Scout Cookies to Bess Truman at the White House. Really! She even had the news clipping with photo to prove it!

Let the laughs begin! Tickets are $19 (includes meal, tax, tip and entertainment), and are on sale now at the EN Activities Center. Come alone, or with friends. We’ll seat you with folks. It’s a great way to meet your fellow summertime Creekers. The TV Dinners are held in the TF Ballroom. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6:00 p.m. with game to follow.

The July TV Dinner will be on the 19th, with an Italian dinner buffet and the game, “Lyrical Lyrics”. Tickets for that dinner go on sale Friday, June 22 at 8:00 a.m., at the EN Activities Office.
