The PebbleCreek fall Home & Garden Tour once again raised funds to support the Goodyear Shop with a Cop program. This year’s Shop with a Cop event was held on December 8. Goodyear Police Officers accompanied selected special children for a shopping experience at the Walmart on Estrella Parkway. The children gathered at the Goodyear Municipal Courts Building early Saturday morning to have breakfast with their assigned officers. Santa and Mrs. Claus were on hand to greet the children, hear their Christmas lists and present each child with a gift card to use at Walmart. A police motorcade brought the children to Walmart. After the children arrived to shop, they quickly filled their carts, something that would not be possible without this program. The children often purchased gifts for their siblings and parents and excitedly shared their gifts with their families when they returned to the Goodyear complex.

This event was made possible by the very generous support of the residents of PebbleCreek. Over 100 volunteers helped with the tour serving as hosts and hostesses and coordinating the event. And, most importantly, we had six PebbleCreek homeowners who opened their homes for the tour.

The Home Tour Committee, Barbara Hockert, Charlotte Krause, Suzanne Butler and Wally Campbell, want to thank all of PebbleCreek for your support.
