The Colorado Party – don’t miss it

Cheryl Murphy and Suki Fitzgerald

The Colorado Party is coming to the Tuscany Falls Ballroom on March 4, 2019. We will throw open the doors to both the ballroom and the no host bar so the party can start at 5:00 p.m. Get a drink, find a seat around the dance floor so you are ready to rock, or hop or seat dance to our own PebbleRock Band. If you are new to PebbleCreek and don’t know about PebbleRock, you are in for a treat as PebbleRock can play all our favorite tunes.

How many expat Coloradoans live in PebbleCreek? Come to the Colorado Party and find out. There may be Coloradoans from your hometown or from your favorite Colorado city. A buffet dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. followed by dancing.

Most importantly, be sure to bring cash for the very popular “Mile High Squares” board. You can buy a chance to win great prizes. Mile High Squares will be bigger and better than ever and will, again, sell out very quickly.

Tickets for the Colorado Party go on sale January 7, 2019. Watch the e-group and the PebbleCreek Post for the ticket form for this, “not to be missed fun event.” After January 7, call Suki Fitzgerald at 303-810-3154 for further information or questions.

Wisconsin winter wonderland 22nd annual state party

This year’s party is going to be celebrating the beauty of Wisconsin in winter without having to deal with all the negatives like freezing cold, shoveling snow and slippery roads.

We’ll meet on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at the Tuscany Falls Ballroom from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Cost is $24. RSVP before February 17, 2019.

Menu: Homestyle buffet including a salad and rolls, chicken fried chicken with gravy, beef bourguignon (tender tips of beef braised with vegetables in a burgundy wine, finished with a rich demi-glace and then covered in mashed potatoes), sweet potato fingerlings and a vegetable medley. Dessert will again be courtesy of Culver’s restaurant. A vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free option is an herb marinated roasted Portobello mushroom stuffed with roasted vegetables.

There will be games and raffle prizes and a few surprises, so you don’t want to miss it.

To sign up starting January 24, go to the Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse and look for our three-ring binder labeled Wisconsin Party on the counter across from the Pro Shop. Put your check made payable to Dan Borreson in the envelope and list all of the members in your party on the sheet, then just show up at the party.

Dress is casual, any Wisconsin sport team attire is always welcome, but since we are celebrating winter, you might want to wear a scarf or hat.

Please bring some extra cash for drinks, raffle prizes and a donation to a local charity.
