Attention PebbleCreek skiers! Valley temperatures were above average in October but conditions in the mountains are quite different and a new ski season will soon be here. PebbleCreek doesn’t have a ski club but, not to worry, many PebbleCreekers belong to Valley of the Sun Ski Club (VSSC) which is open to all skiers and is an easy drive on Loop 303 from PebbleCreek to the Sun City West Foundation, southwest corner of Stardust and R.H. Johnson Boulevard, Sun City West. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month and the kickoff meeting for the 2016-2017 season is November 3. VSSC offers well organized, reasonably priced trips to some of the best ski areas in the West, with great trips planned this season for Aspen/Snowmass, Telluride and Park City.
