Jill and Jim Lewis won the third place bronze medal in the age 55 to 59 open mixed doubles event. The Huntsman Senior World Games is an annual competition in St. George, Utah. This was the 30th year of the event and there were over 11,000 athletes from 70 countries competing in 30 different sports. Anyone interested in competing in next year’s games can inquire on the Huntsman Senior World Games website for information. St. George is a beautiful venue. Way to go, PebbleCreekers!

Back at home we had plenty of fun, too! The September Social was under the stars. Carol served up BBQ from Rudy’s, John served up a great tournament format and Jerry passed out. He passed out engraved wine glasses with our logo for the lucky raffle winners along with other fine gifts.

Serve on the board! What a fun way to volunteer and do good! Contact the nominating committee if you are interested. To see the job descriptions check out the bylaws on the website (on homepage: administrative information) or in the tennis buildings.

Mark your calendar: November 19 is our next mixer. December 16 is the Christmas Party. Bring a children’s gift for the New Life Center.

We welcome all new members and want to help you find people to play with. Check out information in Tuscany Tennis Center or ask any of us and we will help. Our website has a list of all members along with helpful information;  www.pebblecreektennis.com.
