Residents enjoy Crazy Horse Volksmarch

Harriet and Duane Quail

PebbleCreek residents Harriet and Duane Quail took part in the 32nd annual Crazy Horse Volksmarch on June 3, 2017. The 10K or 6.2 mile walk is the largest and most popular organized Volksmarch in the United States, climbing the largest mountain carving in the world in the Black Hills of South Dakota. This is the only time the 12,000 to 15,000 visitors are allowed on Korczak Ziolkowski’s giant sculpture in progress to view the nine story face. Work continues on what will be the largest sculpture in the world.
