More than 100 members and guests attended the PebbleCreek Republican Club Special Meeting on Wednesday, August 30 in the Tuscany Falls Clubhouse Chianti Room.

The speaker was Congressman Paul Gosar who is serving his fourth term as representative for Arizona’s 4th Congressional District. A former dentist and small business owner, Dr. Gosar presides as chairman of the Congressional Western Caucus where he works to protect private property, strengthen local control, foster economic growth and increase energy independence.

Dr. Gosar’s initiatives are focused on bringing jobs back to the district, fighting illegal immigration and securing the border, cutting government spending and ensuring that he is representing the interests of his constituents. He was recognized as one of the hardest working and most effective new members of congress.

As the highest-ranking conservative in Arizona, Dr. Gosar received a 93%, according to the Heritage Action Scorecard. FreedomWorks, Gun Owners of America and the American Conservative Union have all given Congressman Gosar a perfect score of 100% for maintaining and upholding a strong conservative record.

Following his presentation Congressman Gosar presided over a lengthy Q&A session and remained to chat informally with many of the attendees.
