A record crowd attended the Thanksgiving Open House at the PebbleCreek Model Railroad Club. Well over 200 residents, family and friends visited our indoor and outdoor train layouts on Black Friday morning.
The club extends many thanks to Martha Urbin for bringing her ride-on train. Everyone enjoyed the leisurely tour of the Eagle’s Nest complex and a select few took the repositioning trip from Tuscany.
Our next Open House will be on Good Friday, which is early for 2018, on March 30 from 10:00 a.m. to noon. The model layout is open for visitors on Tuesday and Thursday mornings or by arrangement with Mark Pelletier, 847-224-5653. We’re also on the Web at www.pcmrc.org.
