Pub Nite Trivia returns

The ever-popular Pub Quiz Nites return to PebbleCreek in December. Gather your friends, and form a team of up to eight people, or come alone and we’ll match you to a team. The fun takes place on select Saturday nights through April.

A total of eight sessions will be held, with the first Pub Nite set for Dec. 28. Each night, the buffet will open at 5 p.m., with the trivia games starting at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $20, which includes a buffet dinner, tax, tip, and quiz fee. Each dinner will include assorted salads along with the main meal entrée, vegetables, and, of course, the traditional cookie for dessert. The buffet dinners will rotate in the following order: chicken buffet, Italian buffet, barbeque buffet, Mexican buffet, and then they’ll repeat for the final four sessions.

Those requiring “gluten free” or vegetarian meals need to state this at the time the ticket is purchased.

Tickets for the first two Pub Nites will go on sale Dec. 2, at 9 a.m. at the Eagle’s Nest activities office (yes, for the first two sessions). You may sign up and pay for an entire team of eight people or as a single, pair, and so on—in which case we will match you to a table. Payment must be cash or checks, made payable to “PCHOA.” If buying multiple tickets, please have the names for whom you are buying tickets. As noted above, following the second session, tickets to the next Pub Nite will be sold at the Eagle’s Nest activities office, starting the Monday following each Pub Nite at 9 a.m.

For those interested in purchasing season tickets for all eight sessions, we once again are offering a “One Day Only” sale on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at 8 a.m. in room 100 in the activities office building complex. The total cost for the entire season is $160 per person. For the team of eight, the total cost is $1,280. We only will accept checks for season tickets. If things hold true from last year, approximately 25 teams will attend all eight sessions. Accordingly, after this one-day only sale, we anticipate having about 50 tickets available for purchase to individual sessions throughout the season.

Prizes (the best that $3 will buy) are awarded each night to the winning team after each of the four rounds. And, the progressive pot money round will be back as well.
