Due to the generosity of an anonymous donor, the Pottery/Sculpture Club has a new and wonderfully versatile tool, a wall mounted clay extruder.
Projects made in this class included coffee cups with handles, three-level decorated vases, coil pots and much more.
The success of this class has prompted the instructors to include it in the rotation of future pottery classes along with the handmade pottery, and clay and mixed media jewelry classes.
Examples of extruded clay projects will be on view for all to see in the display cases outside the Gecko Room in the Creative Arts Center.
Signups for all future pottery classes are in the CAC Expressions Gallery. Classes are open to all residents regardless of experience.
