Jeff Wilson
The Pottery Club featured artist for January is Terry Wilson. A longtime artist but relative newcomer to pottery, Terry has been making pottery for only two years. In that short time she has gone from being a teacher’s assistant to co-instructor and an artistic inspiration to other club members.
Terry’s background in art extends back many years. As the co-owner and lead designer for Great Panes stained glass company in Bellevue, Washington for 10 years, she designed glass panels for both commercial and residential clients.
Terry’s other artistic interests and experiences include landscape design and interior design and decorating. Her husband also credits her as his collaborator and muse in many of his undergraduate and graduate school art projects and thesis.
Terry’s art will be displayed for the entire month of January in the display windows outside the pottery room in the Creative Arts Center.
